ABSTRACT

In order to deepen the analysis of the events recorded during May 1980 by the Frascati antenna (see the previous paper), we have Fourier-analysed their times of arrival and found the following periods of free oscillation of the Earth: ℱ(0S2-1)=55.03, ℱ(0S2-1)=53.12, ℱ(0S4=25.84, ℱ(0T3=28.85 minutes. A similar analysis of data collected in June–July 1978 has shown the following periods: ℱ(0S2-1)=55.23, ℱ(0S3-2)=36.23, ℱ(0S3-2)=35.30, ℱ(0S0=20.38÷20.61, ℱ(0T2=41.18, ℱ(0T4-3=21.73, ℱ(0T4+3=21.64 minutes. The probability for these periods to be accidental in all cases is very small. More... »
