ABSTRACTA 47 year old man had a ten year history of intestinal bleeding due to arteriovenous malformation of the distal ileum. Selective angiography is the most reliable technique for the diagnosis of the lesion and a correct diagnosis was not made until the selective superior mesenteric arteriography was done after repetitive laparotomy and intestinal resection.
