The electrointercalation of the following hydrated metal ions into 2H-TaS2 crystals was investigated: Na+, K+, Ca2+, Zn2+, Mn2+, Co2+, La3+, Gd3+, Pr3+. We report onin situ dilatometric studies of the reaction and on superconducting properties of these compounds.
