ABSTRACT

The possibility of fabricating polycondensation-filled cation-exchange fibre materials based on shaped polypropylene fibres was demonstrated. It was found that the cation-exchange fibre materials developed ensure efficient purification of caprolactam-containing wastewaters from production of Capron, and the purified water satisfies the requirements set for softened water. The skeleton diagram for a local installation for purification of caprolactam-containing wastes from Capron production is proposed. More... »
