ABSTRACT

Results of an investigation of magnesites and dolomites of Riphean strata by the method of differential thermomagnetic analysis are presented. Iron-containing ingredient minerals are detected and identified. Determination of their spatial distribution promotes the study of the conditions of the appearance of high-magnesium carbonates. The possibility of using magnetic characteristics for solving theoretical and applied problems in mining and concentration of magnesite ores is considered. More... »
