ABSTRACT

Comonomer reactivity ratios for ethylene copolymerization with propylene, butene-1 and hexene-1 over new high activity supported Ziegler catalysts and TiCl3 have been determined. It has been established that copolymerization reactivity of the catalysts decreases in the sequence: VCl4/MgCl2>δTiCl3 · 0.3 AlCl3>TiCl4/MgCl2. Copolymer density is practically independent of catalyst composition and controlled by the concentration and type of α-olefins.
