ConclusionsFor advanced cancer of the pancreas, a combination of intraoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy may be one of the most useful treatments.Intraoperative radiotherapy apparently reduced the size of the tumor of the pancreas.Intraoperative radiotherapy palliated the pain due to cancer of the pancreas.
