AUTHORS ABSTRACTThe comparison procedure with chemical processing of the samples was employed to determine Co, Fe and Mn in zinc compounds free of luminophors by means of neutron activation methods. The separation was made by anion exchange chromatography on Dowex 1 (Cl−) or Wof. SBW (Cl−). The sensitivity of the method, at a neutron flow of 1012 n/sec.cm2, is 10−8% Mn, 5 · 10−7% Co, and 5 · 10−6% Fe. The standard deviation of the individual results is about ±5%. More... »
