ABSTRACT

The method described consists in decomposing the silicate rock sample by fusion with sodium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide-peroxide, leaching the melt with water, evolving arsine from the filtrate, and finally determining arsenic by photometric evaluation of molybdenum blue.
