ABSTRACT

An investigation was made of systems of mixed polyamides prepared from there components selected from 7-aminoheptanoic, 9-aminononanoic, and 11-amminoundecanoic acids, 1,6-hexanediamine adipate, azelaate, and sebacate, and 6-caprolactam.It was found that the lowest melting points and highest solubilities were possessed by products lying in the central part of the composition diagram. It was found that the regions bounded by ischerms were displaced in the direction of “odd” components and also in the direction of components having the longest molecules.
