ConclusionsUnsaturated stable iminoxyl radicals, which are not polymerized under ordinary conditions due to steric hindrance, are polymerized via the addition of the primary amide group to the C=C bond under high pressure in combination with shear deformation.Depending on the pressure, acrylamide is polymerized either by the radical or by the ionic mechanism.
