ABSTRACT

ConclusionsThe triplet states of bipolar spiro-σ-complexes of tropolone derivatives possessing electron-donor and electron-acceptor properties were recorded.The reaction of the triplet states with strong electron donors in a nonpolar medium leads to the formation of triplet exciplexes.
