ABSTRACT

ConclusionsThe chemical shifts of the CH2N protons in the PMR spectra of dilute solutions of Si-substituting silatrane derivatives in chloroform are linearly dependent on the distance between the silicon and nitrogen atoms in their molecules.The degree of screening of the protons in the silatrane skeleton in the silatranes is determined by the inductive and resonance effects of the substituent X on the silicon atom, as well as by the nature of the solvent and the concentration.
