ABSTRACT

ConclusionsThe bimetallic Pt-Sn(II) complex catalyzes the hydrogenation and a shift of the isolated C=C bond of unsaturated ketones: isomerization is predominant in alcohol solution, while hydrogenation predominates in acetic acid solution.The Pt-Sn(II) complex exhibits catalytic activity only in the presence of molecular hydrogen, which is highest at a solution molar ratio of Sn/Pt=6. The dependence of the activity on the hydrogen pressure passes through a maximum. More... »
