ConclusionsThe ability of some p-substituted (phenoxymethyl)triethyl- and (phenoxymethyl)triethoxysilanes, and of the corresponding anisole derivatives, to complex with iodine was studied.The relativeπ donor capacity of the studied molecules to complex with iodine was estimated.
