ABSTRACTConclusionsThe stabilities of O-glycyl derivatives of monosaccharides at pH 0.7–6.0 were investigated.The structure of the monosaccharide, and particularly the nature of the ring, affects the stability of the ester link.The stability of the ester link depends on the position of the O-(amino-acyl) group in the monosaccharide molecule.
