ABSTRACTβ-Sn[(OC2H4)2NC2H4OH]2 crystallizes with space group Pccn and cell dimensionsa=16.35 (2),b=7.26 (1),c=12.82 (1) Å andZ=4. The structure was solved by the heavy atom technique (571 observed reflections, R1=5.9%). Tin is octahedrally coordinated by four oxygen and two nitrogen atoms (Sn−O 2.01; 2.04 Å, Sn−N 2.33 Å) of the triethanolamine molecules. The complexes possess a crystallographic two-fold axis of rotation. They are linked by hydrogen bonds, thus forming infinite chains parallel to the twofold axis. More... »
