ABSTRACTBy the previously developed carbodiimide method 6-O-[(benzyloxycarbonyl)glycyl] derivatives of hexoses (mannose, galactose, talose, glucose) and the 5-O-[(benzyloxycarbonyl)glycyl] derivative of a pentose (ribose) were synthesized.By the hydrogenolysis of O-[(benzyloxycarbonylamino)-acyl] derivatives of monosaccharides in presence of oxalic acid, oxalates of O-(amino-acyl) monosaccharides were prepared.
