ABSTRACT

The breakdown of O-(aminoacyl) and O-peptide derivatives of glucose under the action of hydroxylamine was studied.Hydroxylaminolysis is much faster than hydrolysis, and its rate depends on the hydroxylamine concentration, the pH of the medium, and the structure of the aminoacyl grouping.
