ABSTRACT

The aim of this study was the preparation of the natural zeolitic material of the clinoptilolite type doped with silver iodide. Natural zeolite from the East Slovakian deposit was used. This natural zeolitic material doped with AgI (content of AgI: 28.5%) has been investigated by X-ray powder diffractometry, EDS analysis, scanning electron microscopy, IR spectroscopy and thermal analysis.
