ABSTRACTThe interaction of 3, 5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-N, N-dimethylbenzyiamine with various acyl halides has been studied. The N-acyl quaternary ammonium salts obtained can be used to introduce a sterically hindered phenol fragment into organic compounds containing an active methylene group.
