ABSTRACT

The mass spectra of 6-, 7-, and 8-hydroxy and -methoxy derivatives of deoxypeganine (Ia) and of deoxyvasicinone (Ib) have been studied. It has been shown that in the case of the derivatives of (Ia) the main fragmentation process is the formation of the stable (M - H)+ ion. Qualitative and quantitative differences are observed in the mass spectra of the methoxy derivatives of (Ib). More... »
