ABSTRACT

Es wird die Formatio reticularis der Medulla oblongata und der Brücke beim Menschen cytoarchitektonisch analysiert und beschrieben. Gleichzeitig wird kritisch Stellung genommen zu den Befunden, wie sie im Atlas von Olszewski und Baxter niedergelegt sind. Unsere eigenen Untersuchungen führen uns zu der Auffassung, daß in der Formatio reticularis, die wir als topographische Einheit auffassen, cytoarchitektonisch der Nucleus centralis reticularis und die Nuclei mediani (Nucleus raphes obscurus, Nucleus raphes pallidus, Nucleus centralis superior und Processus tegmentalis nuclei arcuati) ausgesondert werden können.
