ABSTRACT

Permanent lymphoblastoid cell lines are of great practical value in human clinical and experimental genetics. A detailed protocol for routine use is given for the establishment of lymphoblastoid lines from peripheral blood using Esptein-Barr virus and the immunosuppressivum Cyclosporin A. In addition, the biologic basis of this transformation system is briefly summarized. More... »
