ABSTRACT

Specimens of Cladonia, Collema and other lichens collected near Kotor, Montenegro were found to be far higher in Hg content than samples of the same genera from Alaska, Greenland, Hawaii, Iceland and other locations. In contrast, Rhacomitrium and other moss genera from the same collection site yielded Hg contents similar to those found elsewhere. More... »
