ABSTRACT

Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) has been accepted as a curative treatment modality for gastric neoplasia including early gastric cancer (EGC) in indicated cases. ESD using various electrosurgical knives enables complete en bloc resection of gastric neoplasia irrespective of tumor size, location, and shape.
