ABSTRACT

Solid state lasers make possible rapid technological advances in medical applications by virtue of their wavelength and temporal mode versatility, convenience, relative compactness, and portability. The possibility of using high power solid state laser radiation in ophthalmology and dentistry is discussed and analyzed.
