ABSTRACT

A dual way to turn temperature increase into account to improve hyperthermia was investigated. Application of intracellular heating by magnetoliposomes, enabled us to enhance expression of interferon- β gene regulated by the MMTV promoter. The expression obtained in an 39°C environment was higher than that in extracellular heating at 43°C. Cell killing effect was also raised by intracellular heating although this effect was not directly proportional to the cellular expression of IFN-β. More... »
