ABSTRACT

Intra-cluster spaces are filled with intra-cluster medium (ICM), whose typical temperature and density are TICM ∼ 107.5 K and nICM ∼ 10−3 cm−3, respectively (e.g., Sarazin 1988). Recent Faraday rotation measurements have revealed the existence of magnetic fields in ICM with BICM∼ a & few−10 µG (e.g., Ge & Owen 1993).
