ABSTRACT

Two hundred and ten individuals between 20 and 80 years of age were randomly selected from the population of Malmö and invited for a complete eye health examination. One hundred and forty came for examination and were subjected to a thorough eye examination including computerized threshold perimetry of the central 30° field in both eyes using the 30–2 programme of the Humphrey Field Analyzer. A majority of the subjects accepted repeated perimetry two and four months after the first examination. Abnormal subjects were excluded according to predetermined criteria. More... »
