ABSTRACT

The goal of imaging with interferometers is to obtain an estimate of the spectral flux Iλ(ā) of the source of interest, as a function of two-dimensional angular coordinates \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$\bar \alpha $$\end{document} on the celestial sphere, with an angular resolution that corresponds to the maximum baseline in the array, and which is consistent with the observations.
