ABSTRACT

Security is one of the major aspects of medical imagery. Various methods have been evolved which ensure the integrity and confidentiality of medical images stored as electronic patient record (EPR). In this paper, digital watermarking is proposed as a method to enhance medical data security. Watermarking also ensures that the image presented for insurance claims and before law is the authentic image. The proposed scheme is a software-dependent watermarking technique.
