ABSTRACT

Diffuse reflectance and transmission infrared spectra of CO and NO adsorbed on a Co-Mo/Al2O3 catalyst are compared. It is shown that the two techniques give somewhat different results and some possible reasons for the differences between the transmission and diffuse reflectance spectra are presented.
