Oscillatory features in the stimulated emission kinetics of chromatophores containing Rhodobacter capsulatus DLL reaction centers reflect vibrational motion on the excited state potential energy surface. The dependence of the features on the probe wavelength is discussed with an emphasis on the detection of overtones.
