ABSTRACTDie Chemoembolisation (ChE) hepatozellulärer Karzinome (HCC) ist eine etablierte palliative Behandlungsmethode [7, 8]. Suspensionen aus jodhaltigen öligen Kontrastmitteln und verschiedenen Zytostatika sind erfolgreich zur ChE eingesetzt worden [3, 5]. Der temporäre Okklusionseffekt öliger Kontrastmittel macht die Notwendigkeit wiederholter ChE bei längerem Krankheitsverlauf wahrscheinlich. Über das Speicherverhalten des HCC bei mehrfach wiederholter ChE liegen bisher wenig Daten vor [1,2,6]. Ziel dieser prospektiven Studie war die Ermittlung von Effektivität und Nebenwirkungsrate der periodisch wiederholten ChE bei Patienten mit HCC. More... »
