ABSTRACT

A mixed Fermion-Boson Hamiltonian in which a band of paired states overlaps the Fermi level of a wider fermion band is studied. This model leads quite naturally to the one-particle form of the self-energy which explains some of the anomalous normal state properties of high temperature superconductors. This model also leads to the observed forms of the tunneling conductance and photoemission spectrum. More... »
