ABSTRACT

The Genucom knee analysis system is a relatively new computerized tool for the, evaluation of the knee (Faro Inc 1984). This system has been developed to aid the orthopedic community in the diagnosis and treatment of knee ligament injuries. It combines a biomechanical digitizer, an electrogoniometer, a microcomputer, and a variety of common and unique knee laxity test protocols to provide a clinical description of total static knee ligament behavior.
