ABSTRACT

Within the last 17 years aortocoronary bypass surgery (ACBS) as an essential basic principle of therapy for atherosclerotic coronary artery disease (CAD) has gained an important standing. Venous aortocoronary bypass graft (ACBG) for eliminating relevant coronary artery stenosis was introduced by Rene Fava-loro in 1967 [6].
