ABSTRACT

The process of cell differentiation is associated with changes in cell surface antigens. The objective of our work was to develop monoclonal antibodies specific for nonlymphoid cells and reactive with differentiation associated antigens. Nonlymphoid cell lines capable of differentiation, HL-60 [1], KG1 [2], and U937 [3], provide good models of cell differentiation and, therefore, have been employed in our development and evaluation of monoclonal antibodies.
