ABSTRACT

Excitation functions were measured for the formation of medically important radioisotopes 81Rb and 82mRb in proton induced nuclear reaction on Kr gas of different isotopic compositions. From the raw data absolute cross section values as well as differential and integral yields were calculated for the 82Kr(p,n) 82mRb, 82Kr(p,2n) 81Rb, 83Kr(p,n)83Rb, and 83Kr(p,2n)82mRb nuclear reactions. The optimum conditions for the production of 81Rb and 82mRb are discussed. More... »
