ABSTRACT

Blitzlampen (IPL) sind hochenergetisch gepulste Lichtquellen, die polychromatisches, inkohärentes Licht mit einem breiten Wellenspektrum emittieren. Bei IPL-Geräten kann mittels wechselbarer Filtersätze das von der Blitzlampe emittierte Licht auf den gewünschten Spektralbereich eingeengt werden. Der Spektralbereich des emittierten Lichtes wird dabei so gewählt, dass die Absorption am Zielchromophor sowie die Eindringtiefe des Lichts möglichst genau an die Indikation angepasst sind. Aufgrund technischer Unterschiede sind die Parameter der IPLs unterschiedlicher Hersteller nicht vergleichbar. Die klinische Flexibilität der IPL-Systeme bei relativ geringer therapeutischer Breite erfordert viel Erfahrung vonseiten des Behandelnden. More... »
