ABSTRACT

The current web system is largely built on HTML. HTML is originally designed for human consumption only. Therefore they are not designed to “understand” the web content on their own. Enriching web contents with semantic data is aimed to solve this problem. Semantic web is a kind of this technology which adds more structural markup data to the semi-structured information in HTML page. This semantic markup data gain benefits in machines understandability. Therefore it can enhance agent application to process web content. There is also close relationship between ontology and semantic web as ontology is the key elements for building up of semantic web content. More... »
