We present estimates of Transverse Single Spin Asymmetry (TSSA) in the process \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$ p+p^\uparrow \rightarrow J/\psi +X$$\end{document} using a generalised parton model approach and color evaporation model (CEM) of \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$J/\psi $$\end{document} production. We calculate TSSA using best fit parameters for gloun Sivers function (GSF) extracted from \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$p+p^\uparrow \rightarrow \pi ^0 +X$$\end{document} experimental data and compare the results with PHENIX data.
