ABSTRACT

Intraoperative 3D imaging offers benefits in the treatment of fractures in many anatomical regions. Using this procedure, inadequate reduction results and implant malpositions that were not identified by two-dimensional fluoroscopy can be detected in all the regions described. In addition, there is the possibility of connecting to a 3D navigation system. This allows a precise placement of the osteosynthesis material in anatomically narrow corridors.
