ABSTRACT

Fractal geometric analysis of bone marrow tissue in hyperplasia, in refractory anemia and in acute leukemia was performed. Fractal dimension resulted statistically increased, respect to normal condition, in hyperplasia and in refractory anemia, the fractal structure was maintained even if reduced. In acute leukemia fractal dimension resulted superimposable with the topological dimension, showing that the fractal structure was completely lost. More... »
