ABSTRACT

Summary45 patients with Glioblastomas received intralesional radioimmunotherapy using the BC-2 and/or BC-4 murine MAbs that strongly react against Tenascin. The MAbs were labelled with I-131 and were injected directly in the tumour bed. No systemic adverse reactions were recorded and the brain tolerance was quite good. The mean radiation dose to the tumour was very high. The objective response in 35 evaluable patients was: 6 complete remission,7 partial remission,9 stable disease and 13 progression. More... »
