ABSTRACT

Protoplast fusion technics proved to be a useful tool for direct transfer of chloroplasts between different Nicotiana species /1,2, 3, 4, 5/. Cytoplasmic male sterility a mitochondrial trait was also transferred by protoplast fusion /1, 2, 6/.
