ABSTRACT

We have measured the polarization transfer coefficient Kyy′ at θ = 0° in the H(\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$\overrightarrow t ,\overrightarrow n $$\end{document} )3He reaction for incident triton energies from 6.5 to 16 MeV. In addition, we have measured an angular distribution at 13.6 MeV of the polarization observables Kyy′, Py′, and Ay. These data extend the study of neutron polarization in light nuclei to polarized triton beam observables. More... »
