ABSTRACT

A lambshifttype ion source was built for the Munich MP-Tandem. Protons or Deuterons are produced in a RF-source using inductive coupling of the RF-energy to the plasma. Typical operation is at 300 Watts forward power and less than 3 Watts reflected power.
