Madsen et al.l) recently pointed out that small angle polarization transfer measurements in \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$(\vec p,\vec n)$$\end{document} reactions are expected to provide a means of determining the relative contribution to the nuclear force of the various spin-dependent components of the nuclear interaction.
